Destination: PROSPEROUS LIFE

When I was a child, I never experience to eat at Jollibee and Mcdo. I always experience eating at rice field buying kakanin and use my hands to get my food such as sardines or tuyo with tomato… I never experience playing at World of Fun or Tom’s World. All I know was the big box like TV and we inserted one peso coin and we’re playing Twin bee, Kontra, and 1942.

My cousins and friends played trucks made by tin can and unripe fruit of santol, our gun was made by stalk of banana or coconut. We played at what we called parang (grassy land). We swam in irrigation on the rice field.

Life was simple, but as I meet different kinds of people. I started to speak to myself “I will be rich someday. I will have my own house and lot, there’s truck in my garage, a billiard table etc. I will have few investments and a simple business.”

But, I’ve got some question in mind now. Are these things will be only a dream? How can I achieve these? Do I need to stop my mission and return to my comfort zone and pursue my dreams?

Many friends are trying to convince me to serve God in a very simple way. They say I can serve God with out leaving my comfort zone. I can have my ministry with God through teaching here in the Philippines. They are really supportive with my original plan to be a teacher and have my ministry with the children and youth.

God give me wisdom and faith to answer my questions and pursue my missionary life in Thailand.

I already have myriad of reasons to go back to my comfort zone and follow the suggestions of my friends. Bu I have only ONE reason, I love God and I desire to be used by God on His work with the people of Thailand. I can’t say I will use my whole life, I just can say I love to be part of His marvelous work with the Buddhist and Muslim people.

Now let me back to my dream when I was a child. I know and I do trust God that He will make a way for me to reach that. It will be no longer a dream but a destination. I do trust Him YES! I DO!

My journey is to serve God and be part of HIS work and my destination is to be rich in all aspects of life. I can say in terms of MONEY and SPIRITUAL… inside and out. God promise me not only life in heaven with HIM, but prosperous life here on earth…
