Friend

No man is an island...

I remember when I was still small (actually I'm still small but of course... still cute) I played with my friends such as barilan, patintero, piko, taguan and lots of Filipino games. I walked with my friends on the street going to school. We swam on the flood water on the street after a storm came. We had lots of wonderful experiences.
When I was in high school, I started to be wild (but not so wild, I already had a Christian values when I was 5 years old. But, I learned how to cut classes just to be with my barkada going to somewhere and made fun. But thanks be to God, He leads me in path of righteousness for His name sake.
I decided to fully surrender my life to God when I was 15 and told to myself, "I will be a teacher to be used by God in assisting youth of the new generation." So, when I took up Education, I joined a Campus Ministry and there I met lots of dedicated Christians to God. I was really blessed by their lives especially my ATEs. We had room to room evangelism, personal and other kind on how to share God's love. I also met my friend whom I really respect and since then we been to a deep relationship as PARE, like David and Jonathan. He's always with me and support me in many ways. God use him to be more adjusted and humble, but like what I'm always saying "We can't always be with each other physically but in heart and soul we can be."
I was blessed also by God with many youth in our church. I can still remember those concerts that we had and how we prepare for those events. They are really talented individuals. Though many of them are not already there but I am still happy for those who continue the works for God.
I also cherished those fellow-teachers of mine in CVCS. How I wish I can be still with them and join their kulitan and tawanan as if we are not professionals hehehe. But, friendship is not a job but an interrelationship with the people whom you love. I also built friendship with my students and up to now (though they are taller than me) I still receive a warm respect and love for them.
I met in our school the LOVE that I really cherish (please wait for the blog that I specially dedicated to this heart of mine)
And now that I am here, a new set of friends. Some of them are Thais and many of them are Filipinos. Those Filipinos are from different regions but the Spirit of God binds us and unites us as one... I am thankful that in front of this computer. I can be with those adiks hehehe. They are my instant prayer warriors, listeners and clowns. I already know some of them before specially ate GY. She was one of my ates in college. Then, I also met Jng, one of my followers in this blog. I never seen her and I don't know if I can see her in the future. But these two are the most frequent chat mates of mine
Up to this moment, I can still meet friends and reunite with my old friends through our big WWW modern world.
In this different chapter of my life there are lots of friends I've met, some for a short time, some for a life time. Those friends are really treasures for me.
I just want to dedicate this verse to all of them...
"A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity" (Prov. 17:17)
Thank you for the love and a piece of your life that being impart with this life of mine. God bless you all.
Above all, I know that all of these people will not be always with me but there is only one I know that will be with me for the rest of my life and a life to come. He is our God who loves me from the beginning to the time I close my eyes. My BEST FRIEND
